Triangular House

This is an architectural piece with combination of contemporary materials such as concrete, glasses, stucco and sustainable material such as bamboo. Eighty percent of this House is made from Bamboo to create a sustainable piece. I decided to use bamboo for most of it due to the fact that it not only provides warmth during winter but also provide coolness during summer.

These images show the bridge joining round house. The roof of the bridge is made with te combination of bamboo and thin piece of stucco. This roof is supported by huge 8 approximately 9.5' tall diameter shaped bamboo sticks. The bridge borders are also made from bamboo and designed to give a sudden feeling like you are in a very peaceful village feeling the breeze coming right through you.

This is the little bridge connecting square house and the triangular house.

These bridges are supported by concrete beams.

Lecture Room (located on 2nd floor_Top floor) containing about 6 foot tall windows that allows a lot of sunlight.

Little but very useful library (located on first floor).

Stairs connecting 2nd floor and 1st floor and overlooking ground floor.

Students' working spaces: studios, meeting rooms and computer labs. (ground floor)

Please Note: the design and plan is pretty much the same for teachers' space as well.

This building is connected and can be passed through the main walking space.

Teachers' and staffs' offices, and meeting rooms are located on ground floor.

The gallery is located on 1st floor and research spaces for research students are located on 2nd floor.

The building is elevated about 8.50' from the ground and this stairs is used to enter the building.

The same stair design is also used on the other side of the building.
